Life Time Achievement Award
The Indian Society for Hydraulics has instituted Life-Time Achievement Award for hydraulic engineer/ scientist from India who has contributed significantly in the field of hydraulic engineering and water resources. The award consists of cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- and a citation presented at the time of HYDRO International Conference.
Prof. U.C. Kothyari Best M.Tech & PhD thesis Award
ISH Constituted this Award to encourage the young Indian students of recognized educational institutions in the area of water resources engineering, hydraulic engineering, environment, and coastal engineering. The award will be in the form of a certificate with cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- for the M.Tech dissertation and Rs. 10,000/- for the PhD thesis.
Prof. R.J. Garde Young Researcher Award
Prof. R.J. Garde Young Researcher Award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, a memento and a certificate. The award is given to young engineers, scientists and researchers for the significant contribution in the area of water resources engineering in general and hydraulic engineering in particular and who have not completed 45 years of age.
Jal Vigyan Puraskar
Comprising a cash prize of Rs.5000/- and a certificate for best paper published in ISH Journal.
S.N. Gupta Memorial Lecture
Comprising an Honorarium of Rs. 5,000/- and a certificate to young engineer/ scientist/ academician of below the age of 50 years who have been invited to deliver lecture having broader experience in water problems during HYDRO International Conference held every year.
G.M. Nawathe Award
Comprising a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- and a certificate for the best paper presented at any technical activity of ISH.
